As Branch Manager, you will take full ownership of one of our 22 branch offices, acting as the face of PT. Trans Continent in your region. You will lead branch operations, grow the local customer base, and ensure service excellence in line with our world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop overall branch operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, trucking, and warehousing activities.
- Achieve branch revenue, profitability, and growth targets set by Head Office.
- Develop and execute local sales and business development strategies to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, port authorities, customs officials, and local government agencies.
- Monitor operational performance, ensuring shipments are handled safely, compliantly, and on time.
- Manage branch P&L, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate branch staff to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and Indonesian customs and transport regulations.
- Report regularly to Head Office (Jakarta) on branch performance, market conditions, and opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or branch leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs procedures, port operations, and domestic/international shipping; PPJK certification is a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and achieving revenue targets.
- Solid understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and operational KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to be placed at any of our branch offices across Indonesia.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
